Responsibilities
Position Summary
The HR Travel Coordinator is responsible for front desk reception duties and the administration of travel related benefits and retirement programs for existing PSA team members.
Job Responsibilities
- Answers and directs calls accordingly.
- Receives visitors and team members and answers questions and/or refers them to the appropriate department.
- Prepares outgoing mail/packages.
- Sorts and distributes incoming mail.
- Orders office supplies for corporate headquarters and maintain office supply inventory.
- Serve as a liaison with team members, retirees, and applicants and act as a point of contact for team members with questions or concerns regarding travel benefits and dependent verification.
- Respond to travel inquiries in a professional and timely manner, providing information and assistance to team members and leadership as needed.
- Schedule travel for team members and contractors as needed.
- Participate in new hire orientations, as needed, to increase the knowledge and awareness of travel benefits programs for new team members.
- Act as liaison, as needed, between PSA Airlines leadership team and American Airlines travel group.
- Actively assist team members through the process of transitioning to retiree travel benefits.
- Research and provide solutions to travel-related issues and/or disruptions.
- Work with other Travel Coordinators to update and maintain the Travel Page on the PSA Airlines team member portal in conjunction with the Communications team.
- Assist in development of travel-related team member communications and presentations.
- Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Specifics
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience working in customer service, travel, or the airline industry.
- Proven experience utilizing Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to speak/read/write in English.
- If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the US.
