Job Summary:

Administrative, Adult Transplant is a leadership role with comprehensive operational authority and responsibility for patient access and administrative operations for the Adult Transplant Center. This role provides oversight for all solid organ transplant programs (heart, lung, liver, kidney, pancreas) and living donor programs (kidney and liver). Responsibilities include fiscal accountability; maintaining quality, safety, and regulatory standards; supporting a high level of patient- and family-centered care and service; optimizing patient access and patient flow; driving patient and staff satisfaction; program development and continuous improvement; managing and developing teams; monitoring, analyzing, and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) for organ transplant programs and leading action plans to improve performance; and ensuring integration with the broader clinical enterprise. Provides feedback, coaching, and mentoring to less experienced peers and other members of the healthcare team, collaborating closely with nursing and transplant clinical leadership.

Shift: 8:00am - 5:00pm

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide operational leadership for patient access and administrative functions across the Adult Transplant Center, including all solid organ (heart, lung, liver, kidney, pancreas) and living donor (kidney, liver) programs.
  • Manage and develop administrative teams, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and fostering a high-performing, patient-centered culture.
  • Oversee program operations to ensure high-quality service delivery, optimized patient flow, and an excellent patient/family experience while partnering closely with nursing and clinical leadership.
  • Maintain fiscal accountability and ensure compliance with applicable quality, safety, and regulatory standards across transplant clinic operations.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report transplant program KPIs; identify trends and gaps; and lead process improvement initiatives and action plans to drive performance outcomes.
