This is a hybrid role working out of our Orlando office.
We are seeking multiple Quality Assurance Engineer V candidates to fill key roles in an upcoming program. This position will report to the Quality Manager and coordinate regularly with the Program Manager and functional leadership, including software engineering, configuration management, systems engineering management, and integration and test organizations. Identifies, tracks, and ensures problem resolution and user satisfaction.
This role is responsible for developing and maintaining the quality program. This role will serve as the liaison between Program Management and other functional groups to resolve issues regarding quality assurance/configuration management. Reviews and evaluates software products and services for adherence to government directives, standards, and guidelines. May provide daily supervision and direction to support staff.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Develops, implements, and maintains quality assurance/configuration management programs for hardware, software, and services.
- Establish and maintain standards for life cycle, documentation, development methods, testing, and maintenance. Review program documentation to ensure government standards and requirements are met.
- Develops and defines major and minor characteristics of quality/configuration management (including metrics and scoring parameters) and determines requisite quality control/configuration management resources for an actual task order. Performs configuration management reviews and audits.
- Conducts or participates in formal and informal reviews at predetermined points throughout the system life cycle.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a substantial amount of time operating a computer terminal.
- Frequently communicates with clients, team members, etc.
- Light travel may be required.
Education and Experience Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science and have at least eight (8) years of experience. Experience working in synthetic training environments with computer-generated forces is a plus.
