Absolute Games is a self published studio responsible for steadfast Bingo classics - Abradoodle and Absolute Bingo, as well as the social casino hit Viva Slots. Our titles acquire millions of players each year. Leveraging our back end technologies, our goal is to delight players with the games they love while providing innovative and engaging experiences through live operations. We’re looking for self driven candidates who are passionate about mobile games, value working with a close knit team and want to make a meaningful impact on the studio. 

The Artist at Absolute Games will be a close partner with the Art Director in ensuring all production art implemented in games is of a high quality standard and is consistent with the companies branding guidelines. The Sr. Artist will be responsible for producing art assets as needed to support our portfolio of games. Additionally the Sr. Artist should collaborate closely with the Art Director and Production to ensure the art asset pipeline is optimized and documented. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Create Art to support game development across our portfolio of games 
• Create art assets for UI elements required for new game features
• Create art assets for Slot Machine content including symbols, backgrounds and additional elements as needed to create new slot machines 
• Create high and low fidelity mockups using industry standard tools 
• Collaborate with design, production and engineering to create a high quality consistent standard of visual communication
• Leverage feedback from collaborators to iterate on assets
• Perform competitive research to understand genre’s trends and standards 
• Ideate and execute concepts from scratch with high level direction 
• Recommend improvements to art assets around the studio to improve overall effectiveness
• Build knowledge and expertise with the Absolute Art Studio
• Participate in Agile Production sprints utilizing JIRA and Confluence 

Qualification Requirements  

• 3+ years as graphic designer, illustrator or related field 
• 5+ years expertise in Adobe Creative Products suite 
• 1+ year experience in mobile games
• Strong ability to take feedback and work iteratively in collaboration with others
• Ability to independently ideate creative concepts to fit production needs
