PROGRAM AND LOCATION: VOA-NCNN, a Certified Great Place to Work, is recruiting for a full-time Director for our Mather Community Campus Programs. includes the Laverne Adolfo Transitional Housing Program for Youth (THP-Plus), Mather Transitional Housing Program for Families, DHS/OTL Family Program, Mather Emergency Shelter for Single Adults, and the Sacramento County employment program. Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director, Mather Community Campus Programs provides overall leadership and management for all programs and operations at the Mather Community Campus. This position oversees a portfolio that includes the Laverne Adolfo Transitional Housing Program for Youth (THP-Plus), Mather Transitional Housing Program for Families, DHS/OTL Family Program, Mather Emergency Shelter for Single Adults, and the Sacramento County employment program. The Director is responsible for ensuring high-quality, contract-compliant, and fiscally sound services that reflect Housing First, low-barrier, trauma-informed, harm-reduction, family-centered, youth-centered, and culturally responsive practices. The Director supervises campus leadership staff, coordinates campus-wide operations and safety, serves as primary liaison with funders and key partners, and drives continuous quality improvement to support positive participant outcomes.

OBJECTIVES/ACTIVITIES:

A. Campus Program Leadership

1. Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership for Mather Campus programs, ensuring coordinated, participant-centered services across youth, family, single adult, and employment programs, including the DHS/OTL Family Program. 2. Ensure programs operate in accordance with agency policies, contract requirements, and applicable federal, state, county, and workforce regulations. 3. Oversee referral, intake, eligibility, assessment, and discharge processes to support appropriate placement, smooth transitions between programs, and continuity of care. 4. Promote a positive, mission-driven culture that centers participant dignity, choice, and self-determination.

 

B. Operations, Safety, and Site Management

1. Oversee daily campus operations, including staffing coverage, facility use, participant safety, and crisis response within a 24/7 environment. 2. Coordinate with collaborative partners, property representatives, and internal departments to maintain a safe, well-functioning, and welcoming campus. 3. Respond to and resolve complaints, grievances, and operational concerns from participants, staff, funders, neighbors, and community stakeholders. 4. Ensure timely reporting and follow-up on incidents, safety concerns, and maintenance needs; maintain accountability for equipment and supplies.

 

C. Financial and Contract Management

1. Collaborate with Finance and senior leadership to develop and monitor annual budgets for all assigned programs, ensuring programs remain fiscally sound while meeting service goals. 2. Serve as primary operational liaison to county, workforce, and other funders for matters related to performance, compliance, and program implementation. 3. Ensure timely and accurate completion of required reports, documentation, and data submissions; support audits, monitoring visits, and corrective action plans as needed. 4.
