Security Operations Manager

Are you an experienced and motivated security leader ready to take the next step in your career? Securitas is seeking a Security Operations Manager to oversee and drive day-to-day security operations at a high-profile pharmaceutical facility.

In this critical role, you’ll be responsible for leading a dedicated security team, ensuring operational excellence, and supporting the client’s safety and compliance standards. This is a dynamic position that blends leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on management at one of our most prestigious accounts.

 

Location: Andover, MA 

Shift: Mon-Friday, 1st shift 

Pay: $60,000-62,000/ yearly 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Provide daily oversight of the site’s security program, ensuring consistent execution of post orders, procedures, and client expectations

• Lead, schedule, and supervise a team of Security Officers, Site Supervisors, and Shift Leads

• Manage site scheduling, timekeeping, payroll submissions, and shift coverage to ensure seamless 24/7 operations

• Conduct regular audits, inspections, and performance evaluations to ensure quality standards are met

• Deliver and coordinate ongoing training, onboarding, and site-specific certifications for all team members

• Act as the primary liaison between the client and Securitas management, maintaining clear and professional communication

• Respond to incidents, conduct investigations, and prepare detailed reports and documentation

• Monitor operational metrics, report on performance, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery

• Support emergency preparedness plans and maintain compliance with industry regulations and safety protocols

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in security management, operations, or related supervisory role

• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage a large team in a high-demand environment

• Strong knowledge of scheduling, payroll systems, and workforce management tools

• Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain strong professional relationships

• Experience in regulated environments (pharmaceutical, healthcare, biotech, etc.) preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and security technology platforms
