Investor relations (IR) is a strategic management responsibility that requires integrating finance and project management to enable the most effective communication between a company, the financial community, and other constituencies. 

The candidate will work closely with the Head of Investor Relations and Global Communications to distribute accurate and timely information to shareholders, analysts, and investors. The candidate should be able to work independently with our internal partners (i.e. business function heads).

Key Responsibilities  

  • Work with key internal stakeholders to strategize external messaging
  • Handle internal Investor Relations related efforts, including the approval process for IR related materials, and management of disclosure committee meetings.
  • Develop and maintain financial model for the company and analyst consensus expectations.
  • Analyze and present financial trends, competitor behavior, provide insights on market activity.
  • Support investor event executions.
  • Help support earnings call preparation and set up earnings call infrastructure.
  • Arrange logistics for investor meetings or investor conferences.
  • Assist Head of IR in gathering information to respond to investor inquiries. 
  • Prepare SEC filings and IR related materials for publication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably business administration, finance, or communications
  • A minimum 5 year relevant work experience in investment banking/equity research/corporate communications role
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of financial modeling techniques and valuation methods
  • A strong understanding of capital markets, as well as a thorough understanding of key metrics for technology and travel companies
  • Good team player
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to perform in a high-pressure environment and be able to meet tight deadlines
