About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Finance Business Partner to join our team. This role will play a critical part in financial planning, analysis, and decision-making to drive business growth and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively across departments to ensure financial accuracy, optimize processes, and deliver insightful recommendations to management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Budgeting: Create and manage annual budgets for both operating and capital expenses across multiple sites.
  • Forecasting: Complete regular weekly and monthly financial forecasts to align with business objectives.
  • Financial Close Activities: Perform monthly close activities, including summarizing actual results and analyzing variances against budgets and forecasts.
  • Cost Optimization: Identify and recommend cost-saving measures or profit-generating opportunities to management.
  • Pricing Collaboration: Partner with the Pricing team to ensure accurate financial data and analysis are utilized in customer proposals.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct financial analysis as requested by leadership to support strategic initiatives.
  • Customer Billing and Contracts: Support billing and invoicing processes, track customer contracts, and implement necessary rate adjustments.
  • Incentive Management: Oversee inputs and payouts of bonus plans to ensure accurate and timely execution.
  • Audit and Compliance: Audit monthly accounting activities and entries to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Data Coordination: Collaborate across multiple organizations to gather data inputs and produce accurate financial reporting.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously refine and enhance current processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role with demonstrated success.

  • Required Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including executive leadership.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
    • Strong collaboration skills to partner effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Knowledge:
    • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and internal controls.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    • Familiarity with financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, Anaplan, or similar tools.
