And our work to improve lives is never done.Patient Care Techs II are responsible for the following: Assists in the admitting, transporting, and transferring of patients. Responds to bedside alarms, ventilator alarms, and call bells. Provides care to patients and prioritizes based on care requirements delegated by the RN.Under the supervision of a registered nurse, the Patient Care Tech participates in the delivery of patient care within the critical care environment. High School Diplomaor GED PCT or EMT or CNA certification required Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required PALS strongly preferred in units caring for pediatric patient population Completion of advanced clinical course preferred Handle with Care certification preferred Dysrhythmia course certification preferred Two years nursing assistant, PCT or healthcare experience required – certification and completion of advances skills and knowledge training within 6 months of hire accepted in lieu of experience requirementBenefits include, but are not limited to: Comprehensive Medical, Dental, Vision Plans Retirement Plans Tuition Reimbursement Health Coaching, Commuter Discounts, Day Care Services, etc.Join our team!
