25% Under immediate supervision, serves as a Junior Programmer for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) supporting the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS): 

• Performs limited assignments in application programming, typically restricted to the maintenance or modification of existing programs. 
• Assists in performing professional application services work for the Client Systems/Disbursements Unit. 
• Assists in analyzing and diagnosing system issues and coordinating efforts to resolve. 
• Assists in presenting information to others with clarity and precision.   
• Attends additional formal and informal training to develop the knowledge and technical computer skills required for
