Job Description 

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our HVAC Program.  This is a full-time, professional position reporting directly to the Program Director.  The primary responsibility will be to teach HVAC/R courses.   Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director, and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.   

 

Requirements 

• Completion of an accredited HVAC/R program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or Diploma; an associate degree is preferred but not required

• Certification:
  • HVAC Certificate or License
  • EPA Universal
  • NATE Certification is not required, but desired
  • Journeyman HVAC is not required, but is desired 

• At least three years of experience as an HVAC/R Technician/Mechanic

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

• Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven 

• Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred but not required
