Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton is hiring a FLEXI Pharmacy Technician!

Schedule: Every other weekend (Sat and Sun) with 2 rotating 8-hour shifts. Rotation will be either day or evening shift.

Required: VA Pharmacy Technician License

National Certification (required if licensed after July 2022)

Hospital experience is highly preferred.

Job Description: Prepare sterile and non-sterile medications under the direction of a pharmacist. Responsible for managing the drug distribution system and providing technical support in all aspects of the delivery of safe, effective, patient focused and cost-efficient drug therapy.

Job Summary

Qualifications:

Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) - Certification - National Healthcareer Association (NHA), Pharmacy Technician - State license - North Carolina Board of Pharmacy (NCBOP), Pharmacy Technician - State License - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP)
