Are you passionate about shaping workplace culture and driving organizational success? Turning Stone Enterprises is looking for a People & Culture Business Partner to play a key role in aligning People & Culture strategies with business objectives.
As a People & Culture Business Partner, you’ll be the trusted advisor to assigned business units, collaborating with leaders and our Centers of Excellence (COEs) to enhance workforce planning, talent management, organizational development, and Team Member engagement.
This is a fully onsite position. Availability and accessibility on weekends, evenings and peak times is required. Candidates must be willing to travel to multiple properties or worksites (within a 30 mile radius of Verona, NY). Office locations may rotate depending on support of assigned operational partners.

What you will do as a People & Culture Business Partner:
Strategic Workforce Planning
- Partner with business leaders and Workforce Management COE to identify workforce needs and align People and Culture strategies with business goals.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Training and Development COE’s to forecast hiring needs and succession planning.
Team Member Relations
- Act as the first point of contact for Team Member concerns, escalating complex issues to the Team Member Relations Investigator COE.
Proactively identify trends in Team Member relations and work with leaders to address root causes.
Performance Management
- Guide managers in setting goals, providing feedback, and conducting performance reviews.
- Collaborate with Training and Development COE to address skill gaps through learning initiatives.
Organizational Development
- Support change management efforts, including organizational design and team effectiveness strategies.
- Partner with Training and Development COE to facilitate leadership development programs.
Team Member Engagement & Culture
- Analyze engagement survey data and collaborate with leaders to implement action plans.
Data Analytics & Reporting
- Use HRIS tools to provide data-driven insights (e.g., turnover trends, headcount reports).
- Present key metrics to leadership, aligning them with business outcomes.
Policy & Compliance
- Ensure alignment with People and Culture policies and legal requirements.
Work with Team Member Relations Investigator and Benefits COEs to address compliance matters.
Collaborative Partnering with COEs
- Talent Acquisition and Workforce Management: Collaborate on workforce planning and recruitment needs.
- Training: Identify and support training needs for business units.
- Benefits/Compensation: Address specific Team Member benefits concerns or trends.
- HRIS/Payroll: Provide feedback on system needs and resolve Team Member data issues.
To be successful as a People & Culture Business Partner, you'll need:
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- At least 5–8 years in Human Resource roles, with 2–3 years as an HRBP or similar.
- To posses strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong proficiency with HRIS tools and data analysis.
