About the role

Description

A postdoctoral position in Parkinson's disease are immediately available in the laboratory of Dr. Hong-Yuan Chu in the Department of Pharmacology and Physiology at Georgetown University Medical Center, Washington D.C. We are seeking motivated candidates to combine multidisciplinary technologies to interrogate cellular, synaptic, and circuit changes associated with Parkinson’s pathology using mouse models. As a postdoctoral fellow, you are expected to conduct experiments, analyze, validate, and present research data, and contribute to manuscript preparation. Strong mentorship will be provided. Qualifications. Candidates should hold PhD degree in Neuroscience, Physiology, Pharmacology, or related fields or have equivalent education and research experience.

Salary will be set commensurate with experience and qualification according to NIH guidelines (range $61,008 - $70,000).
