The Precision Fire & Maneuver Systems Engineering organization is searching for a Senior Principal Systems Engineer, DeepStrike Launcher, Autonomy C2, Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) to lead and manage the development of autonomous launcher behaviors and mission planning algorithms for the DeepStrike Launcher program.
The DeepStrike Launcher program seeks to develop and integrate a Mission Planning Human-Machine Interface (HMI) into the Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) to support both offensive and defensive fires to effectively plan, monitor, and manage autonomous launcher missions while maintaining situational awareness across the battlespace. The program seeks to develop weapon system pairing capabilities including intelligent launcher-to-weapon assignments, optimal truck placement, weapon selection, and automated launch alignment to maximize combat effectiveness and responsiveness. The program will also define how to command and control an autonomous fleet of missile launchers and resupply vehicles, ensuring synchronized operations, efficient logistics, and rapid responsiveness to dynamic threats. This effort is foundational to achieving a resilient, high-tempo, and adaptive fires architecture aligned with the Army’s multi-domain operations vision.
