The role of the SAP Associate Project Manager (APM) is to support an SAP Project Manager, Program Manager and/or Delivery Executive in all aspects of the project life cycle: initiate, plan, monitor, control, and close.  This is an entry-level project management career track position responsible for performing a basic function to support SAP Services delivery execution on customer engagements. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

 
• Assist in the delivery of SAP Software and services as required and directed by SAP Delivery or Project Manager
• Ensure, maintain and manage accurate project forecast, project financials, project coordination, and planning
• Capture project metrics and ensure they are clearly communicated to appropriate internal and external stakeholders

• Manage revenue backlog in SAP systems for assigned projects
 
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:

 
• Participate in training to quickly learn and apply targeted SAP technologies and methodologies.
• Maintain a high degree of customer satisfaction in addition to growing and developing referenceable customers.
• Track project status through use of internal and external tracking tools and assist in regular status reporting.
• Assist in developing process and templates as well as establishing document control procedures.
• Support project team through data management, scheduling and coordination of events.
• Manage multiple tasks, work in a team environment, understand and be responsive to project and customer needs.
• Ability to adapt and function effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment while working under deadlines.
• A record of taking initiative (self-starter), driving results and accepting increasing levels of responsibility.
• Build credible relationships with peers and clients, and continuous professional learning.
• Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge effectively. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a corporate environment.

• Permanent eligibility to work in the United States

• Strong Microsoft Excel (or comparable tool) skills with an analytical and detail-oriented mindset.  Prior knowledge of internal SAP project management and financial accounting tools a plus.

• Possesses exceptional interpersonal and communication skills including verbal, written presentation and listening.
• Prior experience involving project coordination and spreadsheet-based reporting.
• Graduate of an accredited university with a Bachelor or Master’s Degree in: Business Administration with an emphasis on Finance, Project Management or relevant degree
• Must be able to work as a team player, but with the ability to work independently.
• Must be open to travel.
