Atlantic Health System is Seeking a Full-Time Advanced Practice Clinician for a Great Opportunity in Northern New Jersey
Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician (NP or PA) to join the Cardiovascular Rescue and Recovery team in the Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) at Morristown Medical Center. This is an excellent opportunity for an NP or PA interested in joining a supportive team with a robust staff.
The general responsibilities of the Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) include examining patients, formulating diagnoses, developing a treatment plan for patients, managing complex, critical care patients, often supported with acute mechanical circulatory support devices. The APC must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing coverage in an intensive care environment and will have the opportunity to gain experience and knowledge in Cardiogenic Shock. The selected APC will be expected to adhere to a full-time rotating schedule working 7am – 7pm or 7pm – 7am and 1.5 weekends per month.

Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of cardiac and/or critical care experience preferred
- Acute mechanical circulatory support experience preferred
- Must have excellent communication and computer skills
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
