Patient Liaison

Patient Liaison is responsible for ensuring that every person entering the Emergency Department or other department as assigned is greeted and offered non-medical assistance as appropriate to enhance the customer experience. This role will work with caregivers to maintain efficient operations and ensure excellent customer experience. The liaison will combine empathy, courtesy, and active listening to establish meaningful connections with patients and care partners and fulfill the Providence t promise to know me, care for me and ease my way. This role is a thought partner to the patient liaison program team by identifying gaps/needs, additional opportunities, and designing and implementing new solutions to meet patient, visitor, and caregiver needs.

Required Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of Customer service-related experience.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
