FULL TIME MASTER'S-LEVEL Clinical Team Lead Behavioral / Mental Health Clinician - Charlotte, Michigan
Do you have a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology with limited licensure by the State of Michigan and two years evidenced-based counseling experience with children and families and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Training. Our SUD Clinician provides person-centered clinical services to clients and families. They provide case clinical leadership to case managers or recovery coaches that are assisting in the case and the assessment, treatment plan, quarterly reviews and any therapeutic services they deliver.
This growth-oriented position will be about 32 hours clinical and 8 hours team leader/clinical consult, assisting therapists in making treatment decisions in relation to direct services, audits case records monthly to ensure completeness as well as compliance with prescribed services and adherence to accreditation standards. This position has a salary of $52,000, based on applicable experience.

Provides day-to-day supervision of multiple programs and the assigned staff providing counseling services to children, families and caregivers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide on-going leadership to staff including coordinating daily operations and activities related to clinical services. Participate in recruitment and retention efforts, including, interviewing and hiring. Assist in preparation and implementation of relevant professional development, training and performance management
- Assist therapists in making treatment decisions in relation to direct services. Audit case records monthly to ensure completeness, compliance with prescribed services and adherence to accreditation standards
- Monitor service delivery to ensure client treatment plan needs are attained
- Monitor staff productivity, assisting in credentialing process for billing; review and process clinical notes and encounter forms for billing
- Assist in maintaining information and data management systems, ensuring regular updates as required
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with administrators, referral sources and community partners
- Provide clinical consultation and back up for clinicians

Job Qualifications
Education, Training, and Licensure/Certification
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology
- Current limited licensure by the State of Michigan required (full licensure preferred.)
- National Provider Identifier (NPI) Registry preferred
- Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH) preferred
- Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Training preferred
Experience
- Two years counseling experience with children and families
- Experience with evidences based practices
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record; reli
