Nurses care for a diverse patient population, build strong clinical skills, and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams in a department that values professional growth, compassion, and meaningful patient connections. </p><p> </p><p><strong>How you'll</strong><span><strong> </strong></span><strong>contribute</strong><span><strong> </strong> </span> </p><p> </p><p>A<strong> Charge Nurse (RN)</strong> who excels in this role:<span> </span><span> </span></p><p>The Charge Nurse coordinates and supervises patient care activities during an assigned shift while serving as a clinical leader and resource for nursing staff. The Charge Nurse ensures safe, high-quality, patient-centered care by directing workflow, promoting communication, resolving operational issues, and maintaining compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.</p><p> </p><ul><li>Provide leadership and clinical support to RNs, LPNs, PCAs, and support staff.</li><li>Coordinate daily patient care activities and assign workloads based on staff competency, patient acuity, and staffing levels.</li><li>Monitor patient care quality and compliance with policies.</li><li>Adjust staffing assignments as needed.</li><li>Assist with direct patient care when necessary.</li><li>Serve as a resource for clinical concerns and emergencies.</li><li>Promote communication among physicians, staff, patients, and families.</li><li>Ensure timely EMR documentation.</li><li>Participate in admissions, transfers, and discharges.</li><li>Respond to emergencies and activate protocols.</li><li>Monitor patient safety initiatives.</li><li>Document incidents according to policy.</li><li>Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.</li><li>Participate in quality improvement initiatives.</li><li>Mentor and orient new staff.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong>What</strong><span><strong> </strong></span><strong>we're</strong><span><strong> </strong></span><strong>looking for</strong><span><strong> </strong></span>:</p><p>Applicants should have a current state RN license.
