Technology Resiliency - Technology Support Lead

As a Technology Support Lead in the Technology Resiliency group, you will play a leadership role in ensuring the operational stability, availability, and performance of our production services. Critical thinking while overseeing day-to-day maintenance of the firm’s systems will be key and set you up for success as you navigate tasks related to identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues to ensure a seamless user experience. You will be managing and coordinating the operational execution of the Business and Technology Resiliency activities of Compute Platforms & Network Services (CPNS).  It requires building strong working relationships with Application Owners, operate teams, clients and businesses to effectively provide end-to-end infrastructure services related to the recovery of the Technology Group Owners’ (TGO) production applications, services and/or products, business functions and staff

Job responsibilities

• Lead teams of technologists that provide end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery for the successful business operations of the firm
• Planning, executing and coordinating resiliency tests (Recovery Strategy and Notification). 
• Partner with product leads to create and maintain resiliency documentation.
• Be a primary point of contact for CPNS for resiliency initiatives and associated incidents. 
• Capture, coordinate, and deliver key takeaways from engagements in writing.
• Pro-actively work with application owners to maintain resiliency compliance and minimize Resiliency Risk
• Execute policies and procedures that ensure operational stability and availability
• Monitor production environments for anomalies, address issues, and drive evolution of utilization of standard observability tools

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence and Excel
• Financial industry and/or business continuity work experience
• Detail oriented with superior project management and organization skills
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication to various levels in the organization
• Experience managing applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment both on premises and public cloud
• Proficient in observability and monitoring tools and techniques
• Experience executing on processes in scope of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Enterprise experience working in Technology Resiliency, business continuity, and/or crisis recovery planning
• Enterprise experience working in Technology and/or Business Risk experience within investment banking or other financial institutions
• Knowledge of infrastructure: network, storage, cloud technology, compute
• Understanding of application recovery and/or failover processes
• Experience working in a matrix management model, utilizing virtual teams
• Working knowledge in one or more general purpose programming languages and/or automation scripting
• Practical experience with public cloud
