Director, Training and Development

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Training Site Lead to support a U.S. Government Customer on-site at Fort Shafter, Honolulu, HI. In this role, the Training Site Lead will assist the PM in providing oversight and support in these areas: overall leadership and guidance for Peraton personnel including assigning tasks to personnel, supervising on-going technical efforts, and managing overall performance. The Training Site Lead shall serve as the primary POC for training activities across the theater. This candidate will provide innovation and management across the span of training on this contract. The Training Site Lead shall confer with other leaders to maintain an overall understanding of training priorities and the training environment. Occasional travel CONUS and OCONUS will be required.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

 

· Active TS with SCI eligibility

· 15 years of experience, with a minimum of five years of experience managing a program similar in complexity to the requirements of this posting. (BS 12-15, MS 10-13, Phd 10+)

· Minimum of bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a management or security-related field

· At least five years of experience as commander or primary staff managing Army training as a field-grade staff officer at the maneuver Brigade Combat Team level,

· Experience planning, preparing, and participating in Combat Training Center rotations

· At least five years of relevant experience managing projects that are similar in size and scope

· Intermediate or higher-level professional military education (e.g., Service Staff College)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

· Recent experience (within the last ten years) working at or above the ASCC/MAJCOM or equivalent level

· Experience within the last 5 years focused on exercises, training, and curriculum development

· Experience planning, organizing, and leading operational activities and preparing recommendations for senior-level leaders

· Former J7/G7 Exercises @ ASCC level or higher; Former Army CTC observer-controller

· Maneuver (Infantry, Armor, Artillery) Battalion Command experience

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
