Procurement Associate

If you like communicating with stakeholders and key suppliers at home and abroad and really want to create an impact – Let’s talk!</p><p></p><p>Major job duties &amp; responsibilities</p><ul><li>Manage all aspects of daily purchasing management.</li><li>Resolve all distribution centre, goods inwards queries with regards to deliveries/stock/purchase orders as appropriate.</li><li>Manage the alignment of Pricing.</li><li>Generate purchase orders and review requisitions, running PO report when necessary.</li><li>Deliver on agreed metrics using TDM &amp; ABS tools.</li><li>Resolve or escalate open PO service issues when necessary.</li><li>Support with NPIs when required.</li><li>Manage exceptions to the rule (Open PO Management).</li><li>Co-ordinate with tactical support teams.</li><li>Liaise with the global sales and customer service teams to ensure all information regarding open purchase orders are communicated.</li><li>Coordinate with transport in conjunction with import and export shipments.</li><li>Liaise with freight forwarders for shipment arrangements.</li><li>Attend regular supplier operational meetings, highlighting service issues and finding suitable solutions.</li></ul><p></p><p>What we are looking for</p><ul><li>Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Logistics Management or related field.</li><li>Previous experience in purchasing/logistics roles – minimum 3 years’ experience</li></ul><p></p><p>Who You Are</p><ul><li>Excellent team player</li><li>Proficient in Excel and SAP</li><li>Excellent communication/presentation skills</li><li>Fluent in Swedish and English</li><li>Reliable and confident working with minimal supervision</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and high-quality focus</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and strong problem-solving skills.</li><li>Capable of leading department meetings and organizing conference calls when required</li></ul><p><br/>Why Avantor?</p><ul><li>You’ll get the opportunity to work in a dynamic, innovative and international environment</li><li>You’ll be able to work in a challenging position that allows you to develop and grow</li><li>You’ll have the chance to create a solid network within the industry by collaborating with many different stakeholders</li><li>You’ll get a competitive salary together with attractive benefits</li></ul><p></p><p>Dare to go further in your career.
