Job Purpose:

GSK Development Digital and Tech’s (DevTech) collective goal is to deliver business impact via transformational data and technology products that enable, accelerate and disrupt end-to-end Clinical Development from protocol creation to regulatory submissions, spanning Global Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, Clinical Sciences, Medical, Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance and Quality.

As Product Owner Dev Tech SPMO, Operations and Engagement, you will be joining the transversal DevTech Strategy and Portfolio Management Office (SPMO) team, playing a pivotal role in supporting Dev Tech organization by optimizing our operations and fostering strong organizational engagement.  You will collaborate with senior leaders and their teams to build “frictionless operations” and “elevated engagement”, identifying areas for improvement and then designing and executing on strategies that increase overall engagement and performance. This role is ideal for an individual contributor who is a passionate problem solver, likes to work on multiple things at once and can balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.

In this horizonal role, you will collaborate with the DevTech SPMO team and the Dev Tech organization, to identify, design, deliver and improve capabilities that shape business and operational strategies across GSK Development. The ideal candidate will be capable of conducting user research through qualitative inquiry and quantitative data analysis; identifying value-driven improvements to products and processes that maximise internal strengths and capitalise on external opportunities. Lastly, you will lead the creation of attractive and digestible content on behalf of the SPMO, communicating strategies and/or change to the DevTech organization and beyond, strengthening engagement and helping build a strong Dev Tech community.

• Programme Planning and Development: Collaborate to develop and execute operational strategies that align with function goals and objectives, building “frictionless operations” and “elevated engagement”
• Operational Efficiency & Process Optimization:  Identify, develop and implement strategies for process improvement (efficiency & effectiveness), implement best practices, and drive change across the org. 
• Organizational Engagement: Design, deliver and champion initiatives that boost employee morale and job satisfaction while building a positive and engaging work culture that embeds GSK values and fosters a thriving Dev Tech organization.
• Resource Management: Optimize resource strategies to maximize productivity and minimize turnover.
• Financial Operations: Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts.  Analyse financial data, identifying risks and opportunities. Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Technology innovation: Stay updated on the latest technological trends to identify and test areas where technology can optimize and transform internal processes. Evaluate the feasibility and benefits of integrating new technologies (ex: AI/ML/Automation) into the organization's operations.
• Partnership development: build strong, cross-functional engagement with internal and external partners bringing best practices, tools, networks and value to Development Tech.
