Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Retail Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in retail sales, exceptional communication skills, an understanding of visual merchandising, experience with inventory controls, and the ability to provide an outstanding shopping experience to our customers. You will play a key role in driving sales, maintaining store standards, assisting with staff development, and building lasting customer and client relationships.

Job Responsibilities

• · Customer Service: Lead by example in greeting and engaging customers, provide product information, and assist in making purchase decisions.

  · Sales: Meet or exceed sales targets by upselling, cross-selling, and promoting store promotions or loyalty programs.

  · Merchandising: Ensure merchandise is properly displayed, stocked, and organized to reflect brand standards.

  · Operations: Accurately handle cash, credit, and other transactions while maintaining a high level of integrity. Possess a thorough knowledge of POS system and heat pressing equipment. Assist with inventory management including restocking, cycle counts, price checks, and loss prevention.

  · Problem Solving: Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, or issues in a professional and efficient manner.

  · Team Collaboration: Work effectively with team members to achieve store goals and foster a positive work environment. Assist in training new staff on store standards, ensure adherence to safety guidelines, and act as a point of contact for team members providing guidance and support during shifts

  · Store Maintenance: Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe store environment, including inventory checks and restocking.

Qualifications

· Minimum of 2-3 years of retail experience, preferably in a fast-paced or customer-centric environment.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

· Experience with visual merchandising best practices.

· Knowledge of POS systems and basic cash-handling procedures.

· Basic math and counting skills required.

· Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and adapt to changing priorities.

· Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
