Data Entry AMTRACKS (Aviation) (BT-24050)

The Data Entry AMTRACKS (Aviation) will support the AMCOM Safety Office on Redstone Arsenal, AL.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, maintain, and manage aviation safety, quality, and maintenance messages in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) and Army regulations based on data analysis to facilitate maintenance, repair, and/or modification of aircraft and aircraft components to isolate faulty methods, procedure compliance failures, trends, causes, and weaknesses contributing to mission degradation.
• Administrate safety message compliance reporting and discrepancy resolution through use of the AMCOM Message Tracking System (AMTRACKS).
• Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures. Purges files to eliminate duplication of data.
• Prepare, compile and sort documents for data entry, check source documents for accuracy, verify data and correct data where necessary, obtain further information for incomplete documents.
• Operate SharePoint for the customer through the input of data and completing customer requests in the SharePoint site.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must have a bachelor's degree.
• Must have 20+ years of recent and related work experience.
• In lieu of degree: Candidates with 24+ years of related experience will be considered.
• Experience with Army Aviation Platforms.

WORK LOCATION:

• This position currently offers a hybrid work schedule but may be located in the office in the future.
• This position offers a 9/80 schedule, every other Friday off.
• This position may require some travel.

BACKGROUND INVESTIGATIONS REQUIRED:

All Bastion employees must be able to pass a national agency check, some positions require a clearance and will require an extensive background verification/check process.

DRUG AND ALCOHOL SCREENING REQUIRED:

All Bastion employees must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen; some contracts require participation in periodic random drug and alcohol screening programs.

• Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Must have a strong work ethic and must be safety culture oriented.
• Must be organized with good time management skills.
• Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.
• Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time).
• May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time).
• Regular attendance in accordance with an established work schedule is critical.
• Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
