The Data Scientist Role

As an integral member of our Customer Success Team, you will have the unique opportunity to work directly with high-calibre financial firms globally. The role focuses on extracting meaningful insights from multifaceted, intricate, and sometimes noisy datasets, honing features, enhancing the machine learning pipeline, and evaluating the effectiveness of modeling. Joining us during an exciting growth period, you will contribute significantly to shaping our team's culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify patterns, conduct tests, and perform evaluations on datasets;
• Conduct Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) on complex datasets to generate business insights;
• Implement data preprocessing and feature engineering techniques;
• Comprehend and generalize Machine Learning models;
• Draft comprehensive analysis reports.

 

Desired Qualifications and Skills

Education

• Hold a Master’s degree in a quantitative field (such as Mathematics or Data Science), with robust data analysis skills.

Experience

• Having 1-2 years of experience in Data Science will be considered advantageous.

Skills

• Software: Proficient in Python and familiar with Machine Learning libraries (such as Numpy, Pandas, Sklearn, Keras, and Matplotlib);
• Database: Excellent SQL skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Machine Learning principles and best practices;
• Demonstrated interest in complex Machine Learning models (including supervised & unsupervised learning, deep learning etc.)
• Fluency in English, with strong written communication skills.
• Experience with Cloud services, particularly AWS, is a plus.
• Familiarity with the private equity industry will be considered favorably.
