Join the Pre-op PACU IR Cath team at IU Health West, where you'll work alongside leading physicians and multidisciplinary teams dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and outcomes.
Our 10-bed Pre-op PACU IR Cath unit provides comprehensive pre- and post-procedure care for patients undergoing a variety of cardiovascular and interventional procedures, including:
- Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterizations
- Interventional Cardiac Procedures
- Electrophysiology Procedures
- Interventional Radiology (IR) Procedures
In this role, you will guide patients through their procedural experience while utilizing advanced nursing skills, clinical judgment, and compassionate care. Qualifications
Required
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
- Active Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license or active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
- Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Minimum of one (1) year of critical care nursing experience required
Preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Additional Requirements
- Advanced Life Support certifications may be required based on department specialty and patient care policies.

Candidates must have a minimum of one year of recent critical care experience. This requirement is essential for success in this highly specialized procedural care environment.
