Shift Leader NOX - 1st Shift

Intro

Oversee the production operations on night shift across the NOX production area.  Coordinates and directs the activities of their shift’s manufacturing production teams engaged in the production of assemblies and finished product. The role requires the ability drive overall success of their teams for OEE, output, quality, attendance, fluctuation, and other key metrics.  

 

Job Description:

• Coordinate production flow activities to meet build schedules, shipments, and quality goals
• Supervise team leaders and team members of assigned shift and area
• Maintain positive employee relations and drive fluctuation on assigned shift and area
• Ensure operators are qualified for their positions and in compliance with IMT system, policies and procedures, and performance management
• Perform 5S Audits to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist with accident reports and investigations
• Issue detailed shift reports and escalate issues per Standard Operating Procedures

 

Minimum Requirements:

• 2yr degree Industrial Engineering, Electronics, Mechanics or related field or 5-6years manufacturing experience

 

Desired Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in technical field (i.e. engineering) or 6 years of direct supervision in manufacturing environment in lieu of degree.
• Experience in leading people
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and actively coach on the manufacturing floor
