Job Summary:This position functions under the direct supervision of the Adolescent and Family Health Manager in the Office of Women's Health. The Adolescent Health Programs prioritize the need to enhance equitable and optimal initiatives to positively impact the emotional, physical, and social wellbeing of adolescents implementing initiatives such as Teen Pregnancy Prevention, Adolescent Champion Model, Bullying Prevention, Youth Mental Health, Youth Councils, and awareness campaigns.
The Adolescent Health Program Manager (AH PM) will be responsible for assisting contracted programs with ensuring that the concepts they plan to implement are evidence-based, realistic, and delivered with fidelity. They will be required to work closely with each contractor to ensure compliance with the contract as well as state and federal law. The AH PM requires frequent statewide travel and occasional national travel.
This position is responsible for managing statewide contracts for the Teen Pregnancy Prevention and Youth Council Initiatives including but not limited to:
- Providing day-to-day technical assistance to sub recipients
- Review and approval of contractor invoices, narrative reports, and fidelity monitoring reports; monitoring program budgets
- Conducting annual contractor site visits and facilitator observations
- Implementation and monitoring of program policy to adhere to federal and state requirements
- Preparation of written reports, grant applications, and requests for proposal
- Coordination and/or training of health educators for implementation of Wyman's Teen Outreach Program and other curricula, and professional development and conferences
- Developing partnerships between individuals and agencies involved in adolescent health programming
- Collection of data from contractors and reporting to proper channels

Write grant applications, develop requests for proposal, evaluate proposal applications, and negotiate contracts to provide educational services. Coordinate paperwork for development of purchase orders.
Plan and coordinate professional development trainings and conferences for contracted program staff and youth councils. Coordination and/or training of health educators for implementation of Wyman's Teen Outreach Program and other curricula, and professional development and conferences.
