Cloud security landscape is evolving rapidly. You will work in a fast-paced environment building a web application for use by internal Azure service engineers to ensure Azure services are built secure-by-design and secure-in-operations.

 

We are looking for a Security Analyst to join a fast-paced environment building a web application for use by internal Azure service engineers to ensure Azure services are built secure-by-design and secure-in-operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide actionable intelligence and analytics that will make Azure cloud products and services safer.
  • Being a thought leader in the security space to incubate, implement and refine ideas that will elevate our security posture.
  • Translate trend analysis, variance analysis, findings, and insights to stakeholders to drive actions for a variety of vulnerability management and security monitoring scenarios.
  • Communicate plans to executives and key stakeholders.
  • Partner with service owners and key stakeholders to analyze the data and develop remediation plans.
  • Drive feedback programs with customers.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Doctorate in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field
    • OR Master's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 1+ year(s) data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results) or consulting experience.
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 2+ years data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results)
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in a vulnerability management or security data analyst role.
  • 1+ years of experience with vulnerability scanning and management solutions.
  • 1+ years of experience with SQL or Kusto.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Doctorate in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 1+ year(s) data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results)

    • Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economet
