Job Description

As a Security Officer - - Financial Institution Patrol - Full Time in Eugene, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and commitment to exceptional customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors and staff, and support a welcoming environment. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any irregularities.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential threats to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal management and the client representative.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Assist employees, visitors, and/or customers with security-related matters as needed.
• Document incidents and daily activities in a clear and accurate manner according to company and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
