About the Opportunity:
Chelsea Piers Golf Club is seeking to hire a part-time Food Runner/Server to join our Water Hazard Team. Located in the Chelsea Piers Golf Club lobby on Pier 59, the Water Hazard Bar + Lounge offers a variety of signature cocktails, draft beers, and seasonal small plates for everyone to enjoy.
As the Food Runner/Server you will be expected to:

Consistently greet all clients
Keep abreast of all pertinent information: specials, events, programming etc.
Assist the Kitchen in prep work and cleaning
Effectively answer/resolve client inquiries through active listening and offering alternative options where applicable
Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness
Actively engage and build positive relationships with members 
Update and monitor tables and stalls for cleanliness
Assist with opening and closing tasks
Maintain a clean, safe and organized workspace

You are friendly, professional, and punctual. You enjoy working in a fast-paced and all-hands-on deck team environment. You have:

Superior front line customer service skills
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Willingness to take on other tasks
Excellent oral communication skills
Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds or more
Ability to be on your feet for hours at a time
Ability to work on weeknights, weekends, and holidays
