The Senior Project Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for overseeing and leading mid to large-scale multi-discipline installations within a Clinical Laboratory environment. This position is part of the Implementations Service Team located in the USA and will be fully remote. The ideal candidate would be located preferably on the east coast. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
You will be a part of the Project Management Team and report to the Director of Implementations services responsible for defining and implementing Beckman’s product portfolio. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead and manage the entire implementation lifecycle of mid to large-scale multi-discipline installations within Clinical Laboratory settings.
- Develop and execute instrumentation project plans, ensuring customer readiness and adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Coordinate and collaborate with various stakeholders, including laboratory directors, engineers, technicians, and vendors to ensure successful project implementation.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of laboratory infrastructure, and readiness requirements to recommend appropriate instrumentation, data management, and automation system solutions timeline
- Oversee the procurement and installation of equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- B.S. Degree with preference for 5 years of Project Management experience with proven track record in managing projects, and be able to provide examples and project artifacts, ie. Communication Plans, Project Plans, Risk Plans, etc.
- Advanced understanding of the Diagnostics or Healthcare Industry with a heavy emphasis on the Laboratory Regulatory environment.
- PMP Certification and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Project Management software such as Smartsheet
- Experience reading and interpreting floor plans and design drawings
- Willing and able to work out of home-based office and travel around 80% of the time
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Constructions and IT experience in Project Management
- Background in Medical Technology and work experience
- Familiarity with Standard Laboratory Practices, including Quality Control, record keeping, and regulatory requirements (CAP, CLIA, COLA)

The salary range for this role is $100,000-120,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
