What You’ll Do: The Procurement Category Manager for R&D at Kaseya plays a crucial role in driving strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives for research and development projects. You will be at the forefront of optimizing our procurement processes, fostering supplier relationships, and enhancing overall operational efficiency. By employing your expertise in procurement strategies and understanding of the R&D landscape, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute directly to the growth and success of Kaseya's business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute groundbreaking procurement strategies that propel the organization towards its ambitious goals.
- Stay ahead of the curve by understanding procurement trends, tools, and processes to identify new ways to improve the Procurement function.
- Build and manage reporting of operational metrics and KPIs to ensure Procurement is exceeding expectations.
- Manage internal projects to develop new procurement capabilities.
- Take charge of daily procurement operations and work across organizations, ensuring every purchase order, requisition, and supplier invoice is processed with precision and speed.
- Champion compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to maintain the highest standards.
- Continuously monitor and refine procurement activities to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop global sourcing strategies for the R&D Category.
- Work with various business stakeholder groups to identify and qualify new or existing capable suppliers, initiate requests for proposals/quotations (RFPs/RFQs), and advise requestors with respect to contract terms and conditions.
- Conduct RFP and lead cross-functional teams through the selection process of preferred suppliers with effective scoring criteria to critically evaluate supplier proposals in accordance with company policies.
- Lead negotiations on commercial procurement agreements, including Master Agreements, Statements of Work, and Change Orders, balancing business deliverables, legal interests, and pricing.
- Conduct analysis on proposals for the supply of software licensing, computer hardware, servers, data center, and telecom services in support of various business functions.
