Job Summary

- Participation in staffing in the outpatient pharmacy and compounding lab through a rotation that will include all EAP pharmacists.
Prior compounding experience is preferred, but not required.
Provides pharmacy services and ensures the appropriate selection, dosing, administration, and dispensing of medication orders.

As a Pharmacist, you will administer medications to patients accurately and efficiently. Using your in-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical practices, you will fulfill prescriptions with the correct medications and dosages with absolute precision. Your role is an essential element of our comprehensive model of physical and mental health care.
A caregiver in this position works day/evening/weekend, 6:30am—4:00pm or 11:30am—8:30pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Provide pharmacy services and ensure the appropriate selection, dosing, administration and dispensing of medication orders.
Provide safe, efficient, patient-centered, evidence-based medication services.
Verify medication orders and/or dispense medications accurately according to state and federal regulations.
Contribute to medication safety initiatives.
Document services in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
Ensure all pharmacy operations comply with national accreditation standards.
Maintain professional interactions with patients to facilitate successful patient experiences.
Educate and train students, residents, other caregivers, and/or patients.
Be accountable for drug use policy adherence.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
PharmD or Bachelor’s of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy
Current state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible in current state within 90 days of hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) and completion of
