Senior Consultant – SAP PP and PP/DS

As a Senior Consultant – SAP PP and PP/DS, you will play a key role in delivering production planning solutions for clients undergoing SAP S/4HANA transformation or looking to optimize their manufacturing and planning processes. You will work on both pre-sales and delivery phases, providing strategic insights, leading workshops, configuring systems, and driving successful implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver SAP PP and PP/DS implementation projects for manufacturing and supply chain clients.

• Conduct requirement gathering workshops, fit-gap analysis, and solution design sessions.

• Configure SAP PP and PP/DS modules, including Master Data (BOM, Routing), MRP, Production Orders, Planning Strategies, and Heuristics.

• Integrate PP/DS with SAP S/4HANA, APO (if applicable), and other modules (e.g., MM, SD, QM, IBP,MES).

• Support pre-sales activities by providing solution demos, scoping inputs, and technical guidance.

• Develop functional specifications for custom developments and collaborate with ABAP/development teams.

• Guide data migration activities related to PP master and transactional data.

• Train end users and support change management initiatives.

• Provide post-go-live stabilization and continuous improvement support.

• Stay current on SAP roadmap and innovations around S/4HANA PP, embedded PP/DS, and Advanced Planning capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 4–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP and PP/DS implementations, preferably in a consulting environment.

• Strong understanding of discrete and process manufacturing processes.

• Deep expertise in planning strategies, MRP Live, demand planning integration, capacity planning, and pegging strategies in PP/DS.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and client communication skills.

• Ability to lead workshops and work independently with global stakeholders.
