About the Job:
The Regional Director of Company Operations (Georgia and Florida) is a strategic business leader rooted in our deep culture inspiring teams to chase greatness and achieve our brand goals. This operations leader will leverage outstanding leadership skills to develop and cultivate the best talent with deep succession, develop business plans to achieve key business results, deliver meaningful moments to our guests and achieve our Brand goals.
This leader is responsible for over half a billion in revenue with direct P&L accountability and is considered to be the pipeline for future Senior roles for the Brand. The team this leader is responsible for includes 6,500 team members and managers across 200+ company locations within multiple markets. Direct reports include up to seven Market Coaches and a Local Store Marketing leader to drive guest counts and share.
Responsibilities include ensuring the Operations team is executing a meaningful guest experience through excellence in day-to-day operations and training, brand standard compliance, development of multi-unit leaders (Above Restaurant Leaders) and restaurant managers with direct P&L accountability.
The Regional Director will serve as a vital member of the Operations team with exceptional interpersonal skills and be equally adept in building relationships amongst the leaders in the Restaurant Support Center as well as our Franchise and Company Operations Team. This role will report to the SVP, Operations leader. This position will be based in either Georgia or Florida.
The Day-to-Day:
- Develop and implement strategies, tactics and business plans that support and align with our overall key initiatives.
- Provides strategic leadership for each Market Leader to deliver a meaningful guest experience across a diverse group of restaurants.
- Leads with intention working with each Market Leader to deliver profit goals and meet targeted flow-thru objectives; utilizing available reports to identify opportunities and leading period business reviews; focusing on top-line sales through operational disciplines; ensuring that operational procedures and brand standards are followed to drive bottom line results.
- Demonstrates a strategic approach to having a deep bench at all levels within the Region. This includes 2x2 successors ready for future growth. People strategies and assessment of talent are well executed.
- Accountable for coaching and training various levels of Management for operational excellence and leading national training initiatives.
- Develops and maintains management staffing levels; drives to full management staffing for each location in market; commits to selection process; monitors staffing levels to anticipate sales seasonality.
- Effectively leads and inspires teams throughout the Region through our deep culture and unlocking Cultural Rebels to be empowered and drive our business.
- Resolution oriented in all Employee Relations (ER) activities; provides needed ER assistance to managers; is proactive in addressing ER needs in the market.
- Absolutely uncompromising execution of the highest standards of OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policy.
- Exhibits ownership when working with Management to resolve chronic Repair & Maintenance (R&M) issues; determines causes of excessive R&M; gathers R&M issues; identifies trends and takes to R&M Business Partners
