RP is seeking Strategic Partnerships Specialist. The position will support the development and implementation of partnerships with a wide range of actors to increase the reach and impact of MCC’s compact programs and model and supporting the use of innovative tools and methods to advance MCC’s goals and development effectiveness practice more broadly.

Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements specific partnerships and applied innovations, providing guidance, quality control, risk management, and oversight. This includes conducting research, convening MCC staff, and gathering input from current and prospective partners and experts to prioritize and assist in the development of partnership and innovation opportunities.
- Supports the creation of corporate-level partnership and innovation, including but not limited to memoranda of understanding and other institutional agreements with partners (e.g. other Federal agencies and donors, colleges and universities, and research organizations).
- Provides tailored support to assigned MCC country and regional teams on identifying, developing, and executing partnership and innovation opportunities to increase the impact of Compact investments.
- Provides advice and assistance to country and regional counterparts on partnership and innovation opportunities, as appropriate, as they develop and manage consultative processes and design project concepts.
- Administers information management functions related to partnerships and innovation, including partner mapping, past engagement, assessments, memoranda of understanding, etc., at Compact levels.
- Coordinates with a wide range of actors (e.g. other Federal agencies, non-governmental and civil society organizations, foundations, impact investors, bilateral and multilateral donors, regional organizations, and businesses), as well as MCC staff liaising with these actors, on strategic partnership matters related to the coordination of corporate and in-country resources and activities.
- Supports implementation of guidance and technical support to ensure policies, procedures, and guidance are provided that adequately address partnership and innovation issues that arise during compact development and implementation, and works with country teams to ensure these policies, procedures, and guidance are followed.
- Recommends and facilitates Compact implementation plans to improve program policies, analyses, practices, templates, project management tools, methods, and organizational structure, as they relate to partnerships and innovation opportunities in MCC programs.
- Supports knowledge management activities for the SP by drafting lessons learned documentation, policies and procedures.
- Facilitates interdisciplinary group meetings and activities with representatives from relevant MCC departments and divisions to support coordination across MCC.
- Represents SP through participation in public events and conferences and through traditional and social media.

Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance Required
- Demonstrated experience developing strategic partnerships with social impact and development organizations, such as multilateral development banks, impact investors and other bilateral development agencies;
- Demonstrated experience monitoring and evaluating the success of strategic partnerships, including the development and use of appropriate metrics;
- Demonstrated experience leading, facilitating and coordinating activities across organizational entities;
- Degree in public affairs, business, international development, or other relevant field
- Knowledge of bilateral and multilateral donor, regional organization, United States Government investments, and/or NGOs international development programs
- International experience in developing countries
- Demonstrated project and partnership management skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills in working with cross-cultural and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong written and oral communication skills
