Marketing Intern - Account Profiling (Brno office, Czech Republic)

 We are currently looking for Marketing interns to join us in Brno. You will work closely with a senior mentor to gain technical knowledge and experience in your field, and cooperate with a broader international team both locally and globally. You can expect challenging and engaging real-world projects where you gain an understanding of each stage of the marketing & sales funnel. Expect challenging projects where you will have the opportunity to learn sales messaging techniques, develop a knowledge of the Red Hat portfolio and gain broad experience in various aspects of marketing, data intelligence, lead development and sales.

Red Hat’s Intern Program is a collaborative effort between the Emerging Talent team and our intern managers. The program is designed to offer a meaningful and well-rounded experience — combining professional development, networking opportunities, social engagement, and impactful work. This is a paid internship based in our Brno office, typically lasting 12 months, with the possibility to extend up to 24 months. Interns work on average 20 hours per week, with flexible working hours, and the expected start date is February 1st.

What you will do

• Conduct market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits and trends

• Analyzing data to build insights about accounts using generative AI online tools and platforms in order to build account intelligence and profiling, using various online tools

• Assist account managers and partners in building an understanding of these organizations from a firmographic and behavioral perspective (e.g., revenues, propensity, online behaviors, etc.) to enable them to expand our footprint into these accounts

• Monitor social media for trending topics around specific organizations and amalgamate these learnings into the organizational profiling 

• Participate in presenting results and progress reports to  key stakeholders in both marketing and sales

• Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative Account Based Marketing campaigns with the account leads.

• Collaborate with marketing/sales and other professionals to coordinate next actions brand awareness and marketing efforts

What you will bring:

• You must be enrolled in a Czech university (Bachelor’s 3rd/4th year or Master’s) for the full internship duration and be able to work full-time within 2 years.

• Working knowledge of written and spoken English

• Knowledge of French, Italian, or German is an important plus.

• Comfortable working with data and spreadsheets, demonstrating analytical and problem-solving skills

• Keen to learn to new skills with a solid work ethic and keen eye for detail

• Logical thinker with a process-oriented approach to tasks

• Good listening skills and not afraid to ask questions
