Medical Assistant (Part-time)

Company Description

Integrated Dermatology has an opportunity for a part-time Medical Assistant in our North Raleigh location.  The desired hours will be from 8 am to 5 pm 3 days a week (specific days to be determined).

To join our team, you MUST be a team player, highly motivated with the ability to precisely and accurately perform routine histology techniques.

Job Description

• Assisting providers with exams and procedures
• Explaining treatment plans to patients
• Familiar with EMR system
• Relaying pathology and laboratory results to patients
• Prior authorizations

Qualifications

• Ability to wear personal protective equipment
• Ability to work independently and with other team members

Job Type:

• Part-Time

Experience:

• CMA preferred but not required

Education:

• High School Diploma

Certifications/Licenses:

• Certified Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma
