About the role

DMBA (Deseret Mutual Benefit Administrators) is a non-profit organization that administers benefits for companies who are owned or affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The Member Services department of DMBA is hiring a part time Member Support Representative to assist our participants on the phone and in person with member related questions and transactions. The Member Services department administers various health and financial benefits to organizations of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We are committed to delivering exceptional service to all our valued customers including participants, providers, and employers.

Work Opportunity

We are seeking an individual who excels at and enjoys providing customer support through phone, email, and in-person interactions, while also handling member transactions. This role offers the opportunity to build a comprehensive understanding of benefits, opening doors to various growth opportunities within the company.

The position features a hybrid work environment, allowing eligible team members the flexibility to work remotely. However, all team members are required to work onsite at the Salt Lake City office every Thursday, as well as an additional one to two days per month or as needed for customer support, meetings, and events. This position pays $21.73 an hour.

The initial 3-week training program will take place in a virtual classroom, led by our experienced trainers.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in essential operations
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a professional office or business environment
  • Previous experience in customer service phone roles
