Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description

• Account maintenance and related activities in accounting software

• Receive customer payments

• Apply customer payments to reduce account balances

• Contact customers for short pays, unsigned checks, or any other issues

• Process monthly Customer Statements

• Adjust and maintain customer credit limits to assist order processing

• Review accounts to determine if orders should not ship

• Contact customer for collection of past due invoices

• Assist customers by answering invoice questions, email/fax invoices, and spreadsheets

• Verify the accuracy of recorded entries

• Complete credit reference requests

• Verify credit references supplied by potential customers

• Record all customer correspondence in Maximizer

General Duties

• Complete special projects as directed by management

• Represent Schluter Systems in a positive, professional, and enthusiastic manner in all matters

Requirements

• Previous Accounting experience

• 2 year degree in accounting preferred

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to organize and complete multiple different tasks

• Attention to detail required

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base pay offered will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for additional benefits to the base pay range listed above.
