RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports the planning, analysis, design, testing, and troubleshooting of networks or operational systems.
  • Provides comprehensive technical support and/or leadership for elements such as: complex processes, applications, systems, software, networks, satellites, telecommunications, facilities, or machinery.
  • Leads and/or performs project planning, scope, control, management, tracking, or review activities.
  • Support includes, but is not limited to, elements such as: research, studies, requirements/specifications definition, analysis, assessments, planning, acquisition, design, development, integration, overseeing, testing, installation, performance tuning, operation, deployment, or maintenance. Interfaces with users at all levels during the support process.
  • Leads and/or performs technical document development/preparation.
  • Uses applicable methodologies, modeling/estimating techniques, tools, applications, systems, software, or databases at advanced levels to perform assigned tasks.
  • Ensures compliance with, and/or may develop, the standards and organization requirements relative to cyber security.
  • Leads and/or provides telecommunications enhancement designs for medium and large-scale telecommunication infrastructures.
  • Generate a cost analysis based on historical data provided by the government and create a Total-vs-partial estimate to compare OEM electronics and provide a recommendation to the government.
  • Leads and/or provides configuration and installation of network routers, switches, wireless controllers, and access points.
  • Leads and/or implement Campus Area Network and VLANs subnet IP addressing migrations.
  • Leads and/or provides Implementation Plans and other documentation as required by the PWS.
  • Leads and/or develops List of Materials for all hardware and installation materials necessary to complete the installation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Science degree in electrical, computer, or electronics engineering (or closely related curriculum) w/ ≥ 10 years’ experience or ≥ 15 years’ experience.
  • System Certification:  CISCO-CCNP or Juniper-JNCIS-ENT Specialist or Professional
  • DoD 8570 IT Certification: Security+, CCNP, CISSP,  etc.
  • Secret Clearance required
  • Passport Preferred

Overview

We are seeking Electronics Lead to support the DHA LAN/WLAN Modernization Program. 

 

This program provides direct support to the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command Fort Detrick Engineering Directorate in their mission to support the DHA LAN/WLAN Modernization Program. Requirements include surveying, designing/engineering, procurement, installation, implementation, and project management services related to the expansion, modernization, or replacement of LAN/WLAN infrastructure at Military Treatment Facilities and associated outlying medical facilities / Geographically Separated Unit (GSU) locations. Work locations are in the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS).
