As Sr. Manager for Talent Partnerships, you will be a part of our Creative Collaborations team where our role is to bring incremental value to – and reflect the values of our brand, business and guest by working with inspiring, inclusive and resonant partners. You will be responsible for leading the talent strategies within Talent and Influence with external partners ranging from emerging talent to celebrity. You will leverage these external voices as authorities in Beauty, Home, Style and Food & Beverage.
Grounded in business strategy, you will take a deeply human approach to talent partnerships and ensure that all partnerships are mutually beneficial and are authentically connected to Target’s brand and business priorities. You will cultivate and nurture relationships ensuring ROR – the value of return on relationships. You will lead the talent curation process and talent strategy development anchored in our business objectives that enables our talent to deeper engage with our guests. Your talent and culture expertise will provide unique, unintuitive insights that will fuel big ideas and innovation. In partnership with the leader of talent and experiential will inspire a shared vision that will shape the future of best-in-class talent relationships here at Target. About you
8-10 years experience in Cultural, creative & brand strategy, or marketing planning
Deep Experience working with agents, PR reps and talent managers.
Strong negotiation skillset and ability to close high stakes celebrity deals.
Strong Cultural Acumen – must know who topical/emerging and what talent is will be breakthrough
Ability to cultivate and nurture relationships over time.
Must have established relationships in the industry
Experience with social media tools, platforms and metrics while understanding the impact of leveraging talent.
