Housekeeping Floor Manager - Full Time (Paris LV)

General Summary

Ability to lead and supervise daily staff of at least 10 team members effectively. Conducts suite and room inspections for cleanliness and uphold standards.  Ability to make good sound judgement decisions regarding team member and guest safety as well as professional customer service skills. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• 2 years previous Housekeeping Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must possess good writing skills and be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
• Comprehensive computer knowledge in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, LMS system preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills a must. 
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, ascend and descend stairs, maintain equilibrium.
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift. 
• Ability to reach for specific objects at short distances in working areas. 
• Ability to make good sound judgement decisions regarding team members and guest safety as well as professional customer service skills. 
• Must be familiar with guestroom cleaning techniques to include industrial carpet and floor care, as well as basic guestroom cleaning. 
• Knowledge of collective bargaining agreement helpful.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required. 

Working Conditions

Fast paced environment, multiple tasks to be handled under time constraints.  Must be flexible and willing to work any shift.  Must be able to lift up to 50lb and handle sensitive situations relating to staff and guest problems, in a timely manner. Must be willing to work multiple properties.
