Resource Engineering & Hospitality (REH) is the name adopted to reflect the Providence employees who work throughout Providence Health and Services in supply chain services and systems in support of our ministries and operations in all regions from Alaska to Texas. Providence is calling a Senior Inventory Control Coordinator who will:
- Be accountable for managing assigned inventory-related initiatives throughout the system
- Facilitate process implementation and improvement efforts as related to enterprise-wide inventory control
- Assist in the adoption and development of clinical systems and technologies throughout the organization
- Help to develop and implement inventory-related workflow efficiencies, continuous strategy optimization, and operational stewardship practices
- Work closely with clinical staff, building relationships while striving to reduce clinical touches related to product ownership
Please note the following important details regarding this role:
- This position is an onsite role and will report into the hospital daily, as scheduled
- This is a project-based role and will require weekends on occasion and weekend work will be pre-scheduled in advance
- Work Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Work Shift: 5am-1:30pm

Required qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Business, Finance or Logistics -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
- 4+ years of supply chain management or finance experience
- Healthcare business operations and/or financial management experience in a healthcare setting
- Experience standardizing disparate processes
- Experience in process improvement methodology, change management, project management, operational improvement
- Experience managing automated POU systems
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Coursework/Training: Medical Terminology
- Coursework/Training:Training in anatomy and physiology
- 1+ years experience working in a healthcare setting
