Our mission is simple: <strong>saving lives and restoring relationships </strong>by helping people get their lives back, and treating every individual with empathy and respect. </span></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY: </strong>As a key member of the Northpoint team, the Intake Nurse (Registered Nurse - RN) will provide and oversee the medical services of a patient as they are admitted to residential treatment. The Intake Nurse (Registered Nurse - RN) is responsible for completing comprehensive nursing admission assessments, medical screenings, medication reconciliation, and initial nursing documentation for patients entering residential treatment and/or withdrawal management services. The Intake Nurse plays a critical role in ensuring patients are medically appropriate for admission, supporting a safe transition into care, and communicating relevant clinical information to the multidisciplinary treatment team.</p> <p>The Intake Nurse will also provide routine nursing care and clinical support, including medication administration, patient monitoring, education, and participation in ongoing treatment activities as facility needs require. This licensed nursing professional will act as the medical treatment plan coordinator for the multi-disciplinary team in the development and implementation of the master treatment plan and the discharge plan for each patient.
