Our mission is simple: <strong>saving lives and restoring relationships </strong>by helping people get their lives back, and treating every individual with empathy and respect.&nbsp;</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY: </strong>As a key member of the Northpoint team, the Intake Nurse (Registered Nurse - RN) will provide and oversee the medical services of a patient as they are admitted to residential treatment. The Intake Nurse (Registered Nurse - RN) is responsible for completing comprehensive nursing admission assessments, medical screenings, medication reconciliation, and initial nursing documentation for patients entering residential treatment and/or withdrawal management services. The Intake Nurse plays a critical role in ensuring patients are medically appropriate for admission, supporting a safe transition into care, and communicating relevant clinical information to the multidisciplinary treatment team.</p> <p>The Intake Nurse will also provide routine nursing care and clinical support, including medication administration, patient monitoring, education, and participation in ongoing treatment activities as facility needs require.&nbsp;This licensed nursing professional will act as the medical treatment plan coordinator for the multi-disciplinary team in the development and implementation of the master treatment plan and the discharge plan for each patient.
