Director of Staff Development DSD-LVN

Cypress Ridge Care Center, a premier skilled nursing facility located in the heart of Monterrey, is looking for an energetic Director of Staff Development (DSD) who can work alongside the Director of Nursing and Administrator to provide clinical training (in-services) and ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained.

Responsibilities of DSD:

• Plan and implement facility orientation and job skill training
• A complete DSD job description is available upon request - this position does not have scheduling or Infection Control responsibilities

Requirements of DSD:

• Current, valid state RN or LVN license required - LVN preferred
• DSD Certification preferred, but not required
• 1 year or more experience providing direct patient care, preferably in a long-term care facility
• Point Click Care (PCC) Knowledge
