Summary:

The HR Operations, Sr. Analyst supports the CAM Operations teams reporting directly to the Sr. Manager, HR Operations. Sr. Analyst, will be responsible for financial and operational reporting, performing analysis on the day to day operations related to cost efficiency and developing models to track and improve performance. They will work closely with HR Operations Management and collaborate on various project management related initiatives based on the needs of the business.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads work streams as part of process optimization and design to identify impactful opportunities for operational improvements.
  •  Collaborates with Operations Managers and Directors by analyzing the day-to-day activity and ensures the most cost-effective models are being followed
  •  Identify opportunities for Air, Hotel & Transportation efficiencies.
  •  Create and implement business process and procedures to optimize protocols within the HR Operations
  • Expert on the airline contracts when it relates to incentives and credit. With this drives the CAM air team and dictates which routes and airlines to book to maximize these opportunities and generate great savings.
  • Work with Finance and Reporting team to provide insight on the business and help them property forecast taking into consideration the incentives, credits and commissions
  • Conduct post mortem analysis to assess the impact of team initiatives and ensure that lessons are learned from disaster recovery responses
  • Develop, measure and report on Key Performance Indicators and metric
  • Analyze data sets using tools such as Hyperion, Power BI, MicroStrategy and/or Tableau provided by the Business Analyst team
  • Identify trends, and recommend methods to maximize the employee experience and operational excellence
  • Conduct quality assurance and quality control research on data within multiple business systems in accordance with company audit protocols
  • Assist to develop presentations, as needed, to convey new strategies, policies and changes for senior management at the request of Manager
  • Performs all duties within the scope of role and job-related duties assigned by their management.

 

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:

  •  Bachelors degree in a business field or related discipline
  • Prior budget and cost management experience
  • Understanding of the airline industry and latest trends
  • Proficiency in Excel e.g. formulas, pivot tables
  • Proficiency in MS Program
  • Minimum of 4 years in a finance and analytical role
  • Must have experience managing projects and implementing solutions, building credibility with business partners, and presenting process optimization and employee development plans.
  • Experience in Project Management is preferred
  • Query experience and understanding of data structures and data files
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to address different levels of leadership
  • SABRE GDS experience preferred
  • Prior Cruise Operations experience preferred
  •  Fluent in English; fluency in Spanish is an asset
  • Working knowledge of computers, internet access, and the ability to use a variety software packages including, but not limited to, all aspects of MS Office; familiar with social media and relevant company/brand efforts
  • Demonstrated experience in people management; persuasive, encouraging, and motivating
  • Understanding and familiarity with policies and procedures within HR Operations
  • Thorough knowledge of geography, including cultural and societal drivers
  • Highly developed written and presentational skills; ability to clearly articulate complex messages to a variety of audiences, including senior management
  • Knowledge in HR systems is an asset; C-TRAC, Taleo, E1, Invoice Management System ¿IMS¿, RCLCrewTravel, Travel Mart, and other systems as necessary
  • Tactful, resolute, and committed to providing excellent customer service; also flexible and able to work effectively in a variety of situations, seeking improvements and looking to the future
  • Ability to plan and organize self and work in order to achieve objectives and targets; is determined to deliver outcomes and ability to overcome obstacles in order to move forward. Accountable for the delivery of outcomes, strives to meet and exceed the expectations of customers
